Meet your Anesthesiologist
Dr. Garrett "Reed" Poole is a board certified anesthesiologist who graduated from the University of Virginia Medical School in 2007. He moved to Orange County, after completing his medical anesthesia residency in 2011 from University of California, San Diego. Dr. Poole practiced in hospitals and surgery centers for over a decade and then transitioned his work to providing anesthesia to dental offices throughout Southern California.In his free time, Dr. Poole enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and spending time with his wife and 3 young children.Dr. Poole is a proud member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and California Society of Anesthesiologists.
For Patients
The preoperative process starts by completing the health history form. I will review your medical history to ensure that it is safe for you to receive anesthesia in the dental office.I take pride in providing the highest quality anesthesia service. I am immediately next to you throughout the entire procedure to ensure that you are safe and comfortable.
For Dentists
I have all the equipment and medications necessary to provide in office light IV sedation to general anesthesia with nasotracheal intubation.
I do request that an oxygen e-tank is available in case of emergency.
I practice independently, but to improve my availability, I work closely with a group of anesthesiologists who all share similar techniques.
I regularly care for both pediatric and adult patients.
I serve Orange County, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles Counties.
